1. Who controls your data

BOUJIEKS CONGLOMERATE GROUP SARL, a company registered in Cameroon (taxpayer identification number M062318302241J, tax centre CDI Yaoundé 1) and trading as "SCARAB", operates this website and platform and acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us through the contact page for any privacy question or request.

2. Personal data we collect

Account and contact data: name, business email, phone number, company name, role and country.

Project data: site locations, energy consumption and tariff information, technical parameters and documents you upload. This is mostly business data, but it may include the names and contact details of your staff.

Usage and technical data: pages viewed, actions taken, device identifiers, browser type, approximate location and IP address.

Support and communications: messages you send us and our replies.

3. Why we use it and on what basis

To create and manage your account and to provide the platform (performance of our contract with you).

To generate pre-feasibility pitches and reports and to match projects with developers and financiers (performance of our contract, and our legitimate interest in operating the marketplace).

To secure the platform and prevent fraud and abuse (legitimate interest).

To improve our product and analyse usage (legitimate interest, or consent where analytics cookies require it).

To send service messages and, where you have opted in, marketing communications (contract and consent).

To comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).

4. Who we share it with

Service providers and subprocessors that host our infrastructure, deliver email, and provide analytics and support tooling, acting on our instructions.

Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of our products, subscription management, payments, invoicing and tax compliance.

Developers and financiers on the platform, when you choose to publish or share a project. Projects are shared in anonymised form until you approve a direct connection.

Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law.

5. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the EEA and UK. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

6. Retention

We keep account and project data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle disputes and meet legal obligations. Invoicing records are kept for the period required by tax law. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority. We aim to answer requests within one month.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege administration, to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.
